Evidently I really really suck at artificial harmonics. The song I'm playing right now is Crazy Babies by Ozzy Osbourne. That harmonic is kinda an integral part but I've just been playing triplets in the A scale instead.

Any of you fellow guitarists have a good harmonic technique that you could share? I can sorta get one out but its not the high pitched scream that I want.

Could it be the guitar? I play an esp kirk hammet sig. I've never really heard him play one so I dunno.

I think it mainly has to do with hitting the string with your thumb and the pick at the same time.

<--- doesn't play lead

I didn't know there was such a thing as artificial harmonics. I would probably cheat and try to use a pedal to crank the volume or something.
