What does this mean?

I've been having issues the last few days with chars disconnecting with increasing regularity. I expeience some lag, which gets worse, then I get the following error just before the disconnect:

Anything I need to be doing to get rid of this? I could use some help/advice. At first I was only getting the 'error: server_thread: Invalid argument' message and disco... then just an hour or so the rest of the error message appeared.

I had the same trouble.

Log in to that character without lich. Then set SF to store settings locally.

That maybe what's causing the issue.

Thanks, Boora. I did try to search on the forums, but obviously didn't do it well enough to get that result. I'll try that when I get home.

This is going to sound stupid but I've never had to do this, so where in SF do I go to set stuff to save locally? It does that automatically with my SF scripts....

If you aren't getting booted almost instantly after logging on, it's probably not the location settings. Certainly won't hurt to change them over to local anyway, though. Options -> settings -> location.
