I was reading this article about how this filmmaker spent 30 days eating nothing but McDonald's food and how in the end he gained 25 pounds and made him sick.
Now I agree that eating large amounts of fatty foods is bad for you, but really, who is he trying to kid here? If you don't eat a balanced diet, if you wind up eating 5000 calories a day of nearly anything, you're going to gain weight and you're going to get sick.
I just don't see what he's trying to prove. Many know that it's bad for you, but doing it in this extreme won't teach anyone anything other than to eat somewhere else once in a while. I just think his little film and experiment was a bit misleading.
That's like me going to Hershey's Park and eating 10 pounds of chocolate a day for 30 days and finding myself fatter. Well no shit sherlock!
Moderation, people, moderation!
