Blizzard being slow <Torchlight 1, and now 2

So, blizzard still hasnt released Diablo 3..

Torchlight was released when D3 was getting attention..

D3 kinda faded afterwards...

Now Torchlight 2 is planning to be released this year..

I played some diablo2 today on battle.net..... I'm betting D3 for a Christmas release...but blizzard is usually pretty good about releasing a complete and working product... and their answer to when will it be released has always been.. when it is ready. How did torchlight hold up? If diablo3 is anything close to as good as diablo2 was when it came out..not even counting LOD which was the icing on the crack cake... then a lot of click click click kill gamers will be very happy...
