Many scripters will use a check for disks as a way to determine if there is someone ambushing. I know when I hunt in certain areas that are good for ambushing I always look for a disk before I attack anything just in case.

He swung at the creature instantaneously from what I can see right as he entered the room. Now, my hunting scripts would also have attacked the creature because there is just a check for other people in the room before attacking, and after killing something.

It doesn't matter if one is hand hunting or script hunting, if you don't have a disk, you critter will get swung on.

Some areas are better than others, I speak from the vantage point of an archer so to me there are some things that I can't crit making them bad ambushing areas.

1) You can not code in your scripts to bypass rooms that have someone hiding, since you can't even see them.

2) And it depends on Finiswolf's mood if he will speak to you, he is a loner, and likes silence, sometimes he speaks, but most times, he does not.

3) Kuyuk screwed up as well, do the either or, not both. Personally, I would kill em and save myself the hassle of dealing with GM's.

Yeah, say 20 per round, dissipating 1 per round... I'll do the math incase someone is incapable.. 210 total (unless I myself is 2 dum to do the math) Plus whatever initial damage the weak ass warrior took, Not a whole lot of anyone can sustain that much damage without dying. Yes, giants have more blood than that, but if they got hit once, they're bound to get hit again.

Sorry, I disagree, scripting kiramon can be done by anyone that can hold a DS of 225, so its one of the best and easiest places to script. Hell, if I AFK scripted, Finiswolf would be like 58 already, and onto some other hunting area.

Actually, if you get hit by a defender, the average I have noticed from what others have told me that were hunting the same area is 102 per, disapating at 1. So, 3 rounds max, and you're dead. Like I said earlier though, you only need like a 225 DS to hunt there.

As stated in several other posts, A) if I did walk in and swing or swing/search, I would DEFINETLY apologize, cause thats not cool, disk or no. B) I was NOT playing Chadj, NOR would I, my bard is all of like 11 trains, and I am learning fast with him, I don't know enough about bards to play them. {rather like sitting somewhere and having a train 40 something cleric ask you what spell to cast to raise - its just stuipid, and I will NOT do it!} C) I do NOT afk script hunt. A friend that has been playing 4 times longer then me, and is at least 15 trains younger, so if he can get away with script hunting to catch up to all his old friends IG, good for him. I mean seriously, who really gives a crap?

And for the last three months I have been caught on a daily basis, too bad I am always sitting at my puter watching. Damn GM"s keep knocking me over, then having dead kiramon talk to me. Yea, guess you are right, course for the most part my experience has been that I end up with tons more treasure, because folks don't know how to code scripts that pick up treasure.

And the dragging bit would be going a bit far. In my opinion, but if thats what you feel you need to do, go for it.

Seriously, where Chadj is, or is not, is not my concern. Yes, I am Finis, yes I am Fils, my fiance'e is Belle, and Chadj is to be my son in law as he is engaged to my daughter Beaux. (Since you need the bio's on us) Chadj is utilizing my wizard for spells.

Whoever said the average is 102 per doesn't know how poison works. At all.

When you get hit by a defender and it attempts to poison you, you get a separate CS/TD roll. The amount you get poisoned is endroll - 100. So it would take a +202 endroll with the poison attack to get you with 102 per.

About 4 people have access to my account, including myself. I have not had internet access for days, and I still dont (im currently at school). It was not me running that script at the time.

I do not know which of the 4 it was that had my character scripting AFK, but i am TOTALLY fucking pissed off right now. I better not have a warning on my account now, or else there will be hell to pay.

I want to apologize to Kuyuk and anyone else that may have been affected by the scripting.

I do not AFK. If I were an AFK scripter, do you honestly think Chadj would be hunting in Kiramon still? He's existed 8 years, and belonged to me personally for a little over 6.

Again, I apologize for that. I am not denying that I script in Kiramon, because I do script there.. However, I do not AFK script. Most of you know how much I hate AFK scripters:).

And note, my script is made to be at the keyboard.. or else i would have fitted it with exits, ambush checks, limbo checks and disk checks. I mean.. It wouldn't have been much more effort. I already put in the time to have it set to pick up every gem, sort them, go back, get spells, and go back in.

Hey, dumbass, joining them is part of the script :P. The script that was used is MY script, that I made. It is made to get spells from Finis when resting, and going back out. It is a script in E-scape, thus it can be used by anyone who has access to Chadj.
