Just curious why people are recommending going warmage for the first 30 days or until level 25?

Does warmage bring some type of great advantage?

Haste and a claid pretty much destroys everything.

Your mana is super low in the beginning. It makes prolonged hunts a pain. Warmage needs very little mana.

You can say the same about any profession really. Just go two handers, and swing the fuck out of everything you see.
It's not realistic for any caster to spend the first 30 days (maybe slightly less) casting alone.
What will really bake your noodle is wether to actually give up swinging when you have to make your mind up after nearly a month.

Man oh man was I happy when my wizard no longer had to wait 10 seconds for my minor shock (901) spell to be ready to cast. . . .

....maybe the old days were just old....not always good and old. .

wow i forgot about that...holy crap that was annoying having to wait 10 seconds for such a shit spell...your hunting buddy would always kill the damn critter before you got 2 casts off, maybe even before the first one

I actually miss that, but then I also miss the old 1 spell per level limit. Wizards were so much more diverse back then.
