I posted this in a sale thread and didn't want it going unnoticed.

Rechargable

This is a small item, under a pound. In your best estimation, it's worth about 200,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the inset ora clasp.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the inset ora clasp in your hand, and you learn something about it...

You sense a faint aura of magic around the inset ora clasp. You also feel a faint drawing sensation from it, as though it may be able to hold more power. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the clasp is to cast a spell or perform some magical purpose. Also, it seems to have some sort of enhancive properties.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the inset ora clasp in your hand...

From the rapid vibrations of the inset ora clasp, you determine it has no spell within it now, but could be imbedded with one, in the proper hands. You estimate that it can contain an average amount of mana.
The clasp resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus to Spiritual Lore - Blessings Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 10 times.
You think that you could probably find out something more about the clasp's enhancive properties if you tried.

From the rapid vibrations of the gold necklace, you determine it has no spell within it now, but could be imbedded with one, in the proper hands. You estimate that it can contain an average amount of mana.

No. This is just an imbeddable:

While that might be the messaging, we can't test it because it disintegrates.

I read the thread and I'm confused what you're attempting to show.

The log of the clasp indicates, via loresong, that it's a rechargeable re-imbeddable.

But dispelling imbeddables works? It did back in 02 when I created my notes document on recharging :P

Back then MOST re-imbeddable rechargeables were crumbly and yeah, you would dispel them which put them at 0 charges.

That is what everyone used to think, but it's not re-imbeddable, it's just a blank rechargable. The second log shows that the necklace is a blank re-imbeddable. The only difference in the loresong is the "faint drawing sensation as if it could hold more power" or whatever the exact wording is.

Asrial

I'm still confused as to the purpose.

This isn't a knock.. this is me trying to understand the significance of this research.

CLASP: loresong INDICATES it's rechargeable re-imbeddable, but that loresong is FALSE and it's only rechargeable

Yes?

What's the testing on the other items for?

WRoss
06-23-2011, 09:35 PM
Ok, for the most part, people have been considering the first loresong (the clasp one) to be an indication of a blank reimbeddable. This research is showing that the clasp is rechargable. I just did further research and noticed that it is both.
