So my trial copy of excell expired and I can no longer use my spreadsheet. (Why a computer that comes with windows but not office is beyond me). Anyone know a place where its either hosted online or can download a copy for free?

You can download a free reader from microsoft.com - it won't let you change anything, but you can at least see your data. Create a new spreadsheet in google docs or open office, using your old one.
Alternatively, buy a black market copy for $5 and hope the guy in China is as ethical as he promises to be, after you give him your credit card number.

No thanks. It honestly isn't even worth $5 to me since that's all I use it for. I tried google docs and it won't upload. Same with openoffice. It's not something I can't live without, however.
Open office will let you change Tsoran spreadsheets now. Just don't save them in the open office format!

I just installed Office from the disk my mother purchased. Fuck it.

FYI, if you buy the legal "Home & Student" (or something like that) version of Office, at around $100, it allows for 3 copies to be installed. If you have a household full of computers and, for whatever reason, are looking for a legal and yet affordable way to install MS Office on all of the computers, that's one way of doing it.
* This information was correct as of Office 2007. Things may have changed for the 2010 version.
** It might be worthwhile for someone to investigate making a fully functional Open Office version of my spreadsheet.

If you go to Demonid.me there is full versions of Microsoft Office 2010 that you can download and it will say "Product Activation Failed" but it will still let you use it fully. Just don't try and activate it again.
So I've heard.
