racial weapons

Anyone have any definitive info on the racial blades that would suggest costs to PP enchant? I can't be as easy as handing off my Elven blade to a non-Elf and seeing a lower cost to enchant. Also, if the blade "cycles" through various weighting levels, if it's on a lower cycle would the cost be lower? I'm going to put in an assist to see if I can get some answers, but I'm not very hopeful. I guess the best answer would be if someone had work done to one using PP's.

They likely do it off the highest possible weighting. Can't give you a definitive answer. Ask on the officials, they might tell you.

Technically the items have no weighting. A variable amount of weighting is applied through the use of a script, and if assessed the weapons show no weighting.

Yeah... think of these as chaos weapons for weighting, based on race. So there is likely half a dozen ways they could calculate the point cost.

I think the only one who could really give you an official quote on Premium point cost would be a GM.

But, let us know if/when you get an official quote. I'd be interested to see what they say. It might tell us more about the range or level of weighting on these weapons.

I liked the first number better. Not sure this helps back out the weighing from the formula though....
