Thought I'd pop in and say hi! What's been going on in game in the last year or two sense I was last in? I'll be honest, I'm really tempted to log back in and play again.... The kicker that would make me do it is if there was a way for me to revert from Paladin to a warrior.... .... ....

There is. You can do it from the play.net site. Cost is $250, and you lose all experience gained since you converted. And yes, you have to start over in the warrior guild as well.

Yeah, it's 30 days from when the process started or from when you reactivated your account after the announcement. I don't remember when I last played, but I'm pretty sure it was after '06 (but nobody ever pointed me to that page when I asked back then). I wrote Simu though, about it, so waiting for a response. I've always had good experience with them so we'll see what they say.

Also a massive dump of high end toys/magic items/weapons since ever. Really mixed up the merchant markets for most of the year. Also a massive dump of silvers into the game through the same event via direct participation and gambling.

I'd say one of the better years in GS for a long time.
