Howdy all,
I return to the game periodically and I'm hoping this time I can make it past 35 with my bard, but i'll need a bit of scratch to make that happen. I've got a handful of items I've been holding onto since the AOL days (as well as a few more recent items) and I was curious if any of them are worth much of anything. Feel free to low-ball, as I'll just hold onto them for sentimentality's sake if they're not comparable to modern loot. Any input is appreciated. Let me know if I forgot to list any important attributes as well, I kind of rattled this off in a hurry.
1. a gold-trimmed xenium scabbard
2. a shimmering argent blade with a golden hilt shaped into the form of a drake's claw (open description, 2x sanctified bastard sword... bought it to be
a project weapon but have never been able to get any work done on it.)
3.a flowing black battle-cloak fastened with a crimson dragon clasp (6 lbs, holds a large amount, and has a slender steel needle in it that poisons folks that try to rob you.)
4. a polished iorake pipe case bearing the magnificent crown of Koar and affixed with tiny veil iron studs (beltworn, holds a very large amount, weighs 7s lbs., I always thought it was cool that it had both modern and ICE age metals in it.)
5. an opal-inset vultite sai (have 2, 4x and lightning flares i believe)
6. a miniature veil-iron gong (5 lbs each)
7. some grimy imflass dice (dunno if dice are common now or not)
8. a sanctified claidhmore (newstyle, dyed grey)
9. a gold shield badge (show: "The gold badge is engraved with the image of two crossed claidhmores impaling the skull of a massive troll queen.")
10. a pair of travel-worn merchant's pants with torn coin pockets and vaalorn mesh running down the legs (pants, holds a small or very small amount)
11. a vaalorn shafted ancient voulge (3.5x, somewhat critical weighted, halberd based if i recall)
12. a rhimar studded vultite maul (4x and cold flares)
13. a teak-handled black ora-spiked maul (never swung it, inspects as black ora, 8 lbs.)
Also curious as to the value (ballpark) of a paladin; lev 25, dark-elf, male, voln master, fixskills and society reset available, currently trained for MBP and brawling, but I believe his agi/dex is over 38 now in case he is retrained to poles or 2handers. I'm guessing he's not even worth the cost of transfer? After all the waiting I did for pallys, turns out they're boring as shit to play.
