I clearly fail at it with more frequency than I'd like. As much fun as developing medical school career advising curriculum is, I'd much rather read the PC and browse the news. How do you motivate yourselves to actually get things done rather than waste time posting crap like this at work? Should I be medicated or something? There's just so much reading of academic journals and PhD studies that my brain starts to tune out after like 2 pages.

I need j00r help!

A few ways to help you avoid the PC:

1. Get yourself banned. This can be accomplished in any number of ways. Just ask a bunch of people here.
2. Get into a relationship with another PCer then get into a messy break up with them on the boards.
3. Get drunk, create a Member Journal, and pour your guts out about the most personal details of your life so people can copy and paste them after everything you post.
4. Get a life.
5. ???
6. Profit!

1. Post on the boards drunk... or sober in my case.
2. Have sex with someone on the PC and then deny it ever happened when the details of it are brought up.

It hasn't helped you avoid the PC. Lord knows we've tried.

I have hobbies. This helps me avoid internet people who used to play gemstone. At work I'm trapped though because all my hobbies are outside things and there is rarely anyone interesting to talk to (NIGHT WORKERS FML).
