This is the third step of the enchant on a 6X project. I've tempered the first two steps with a dirtokh potion. Any idea why the tempering isn't working anymore? Nothing special about the robes that would prevent tempering/enchanting.

You trace a series of glowing runes while chanting the phrase for Enchant Item...
Your spell is ready.
>cast my robe
You gesture at some dark blue robes streaked with jagged slashes of white cotton.
Visible wisps of essence dance across the surface of the white-streaked robes as you chant quietly, your sure gestures guiding them to slowly coalesce into small softly glowing runic symbols. A pair of the runes flickers momentarily, the intensity of their glow increasing as their form sharpens into crisp, clean edges. With a brief shimmer, the symbols sink below the surface of the robes, leaving behind a faint, fading aura.
Roundtime: 20 sec.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.
R>l robes

You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph.

[LNet]-GSIV:Vaulen: "Cleric to the dais please"
R>take cloak
You pick up a bone-clasped black leather cloak.
>wear cloak
You drape a bone-clasped black leather cloak from your shoulders.
>take my dir pot
You remove a dirtokh potion from in your black leather cloak.
>pour my pot on my robe
You pour your potion on the robes.
The liquid bubbles slightly as it touches the surface of the white-streaked robes, but then merely evaporates without effect.
You have 2 doses left.

[LNet]-GSIV:Dewor: "paying 10k each for 2 lavender shimmarglin sapphires if anyone in Illistim has them, or in FWI"

>prep 405
You gesture and invoke the powers of the elements for the Elemental Detection spell...
Your spell is ready.
>cast my robe
You gesture at some dark blue robes streaked with jagged slashes of white cotton.
The layers of essence permeating the white-streaked robes unfold before you to reveal the familiar patterns of an enchanting project in progress, which you recognize as one of your own.
You recognize the vibrant blue aura surrounding it as indicating a strong level of enchantment.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.
>stow pot
You put a dirtokh potion in your black leather cloak.
>
You do not feel drained anymore.
>
The wood owl cocks his head intelligently.
>
[LNet]-GSIV:Meos: "dewor I have one"
>take my dir pot
You remove a dirtokh potion from in your black leather cloak.
>pour my potion on my robes
You pour your potion on the robes.

That seems to imply that the short description of the dark blue robes streaked with white cotton or whatever, is "white-streaked robes".

Should work... Try a Mirtokh anyways.

I know... Saw it after I posted and deleted that post.
