I am writing this post to sort out the rubble of my GS life, and to say goodbye to a toon that I put a lot of myself into, Tanglefeets Tempestau. This often misunderstood little wizard was my hero. Never a stranger met, he would do anything for a friendlies. Hyped on sugar, and spoiled by just about every female that ever met him, he never had to deal with the troubles and drama of the adult world. He was innoncent, and I wanted to nurture that in him. Last night that world was shattered, and he became just another mage. It is with a deep sadness that I will be making his replacement, and I hope that he was able to spread a little color while he roamed the lands.

The post was to avoid people asking where he went, but I hope you all will understand that I will not go into details on the events that led to his retirement. He will be a pocket wizard for Ranil, until his replacement is strong enough to take over those duties, then he will be deleted.

Tangles was a wide-eyed cutie. Haven't seen him really since he was in the Nations for a bit, but I will remember a fun hour or so strolling through the (at the time) new eastern harbor and shopping.

PS Tangles, I did find that kobold mini, and he's won more than a couple battles against the King Trynian mini. I think of Tangles each time I fish it out of a locker or bag.

Tangles was the side of me that I lost in those travels, and you damn right, He was a hero figure to me. I would love to trust, care and help people unconditionally, but with today's world, I wouldn't go out of my way to help that many people.

I would have to say this thread has been Tangles to a tee. Love him, hate him, but seems like noone every ignored the little guy. Some people get the connection, and it was for those people that I wrote in the first place.

For the rest of us that are at work but spend all of our time in a different text place than you and have never met your character could you just throw us a bone about what happened so we can care about Tangles too? If someone wronged Tangles I promise to dislike them.

Heh! No. I don't actually know anything at all about Tangles other than a relatively favorable encounter with him amongst some of the worst GS adoptive family offenders I've ever seen. But the last time I particularly noticed him post anything on the PC, it was something about Tangles having a new lady friend who was awesome and I think I saw him curled up in his woman's lap at some merchant or other too.

It's just that a good portion of the time, when people get bitter about a character, it's because their GS lovelife didn't work out. Not always, but a lot.
