View Full Version : New tunes, and some old ones too.
The Dining Rooms - Italian DJ duo who drop some funky mellow beats.
The Echoist, Ras Congo & Minty - Reggae trio with lots of delay and reverb
Shelia Chandra with Monsoon - East indian singer backed by really talented musicians.
StereoLab, oh wait, I've mentioned them before. Oh well. Fun stuff.
Yeah, late night half-drugged, half asleep posting. Sorry for the confusion.
Tell us about some new or old tunes you dig.

Um.. okay. :weirdthread:
Morcheeba - Another female vocalist with an awesome band. Old blues, zydeco, rap, reggae and trip hop good for lazy afternoons or after hours downtime.

How Soon is Now and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now by The Smiths are both really good.
Joy Division is also really good. I recommend Atrocity Exhibition, Love Will Tear Us Apart, and Isolation.
KMFDM is amazingly awesome. Superhero, Sucks, Inane, Apathy, and Adios...all great. (and just for you, Backlash, WWIII) But most of their stuff is great.
MDFMK is only slightly less awesome than KMFDM. Rabblerouser, Torpedoes, Blitzkrieg, and Stare at the Sun.

I wouldn't go see her live anytime soon, although she was pretty good on SNL.
Joss Stone has one good song, but it's really good.

I got two songs from iTunes free, they have a weekly DL, so for free I am impressed, and to me she wasn't bad. Also, I have never been to a concert, well, went to a (blond, country singer, little girl, sang a remake of blue moon, was popular like 5 to 6 years ago), andway, it was cancelled before it even started because the stage was collapsing, so went, just didn't get to hear her sing.

Morrissey just put out a new CD. Haven't heard it. I was a Smiths fan really. How odd to have something on common with Artha.
