[Catacombs, Steep Passage]
The otherwise less than interesting tunnel suddenly turns into a steeply sloping passage that extends from the west to the east. You also see a giant rat.
Obvious exits: east, west

You carefully pry the jaws of the rat trap apart and gingerly place it on the ground.

A giant rat inadvertantly trips the rat trap's trigger with its right foreleg! The jaws of the trap snap shut, injuring and stunning the rat!

The giant rat suddenly leaps up, dragging the trap after it in a frantic escape attempt! As it falls back down, it bites and growls, fighting its restraint with all the fury it can muster.

A giant rat staggers as it tries to regain its bearings!

The giant rat growls, eyeing the trap for a moment before launching into another desperate attempt to free itself.
>
The giant rat struggles frantically against the trap, all the while compounding its injuries.
The giant rat collapses to the ground, emits a final squeal, and dies.

A giant rat decays into a pile of mangy hair and bone.
