Falchion and scabbard set:

a brightly blued rolaren falchion, 7x plasma flares, max lightened 3lbs

Treated and oiled so that a faint blue sheen pervades its natural luster, the glistening blade is long and improbably slender, seeming almost fragile save that it is made of strong rolaren. A basket-hilt of blued steel protects the mistwood hilt, each slender curve of metal carved and sculpted to mimic frozen flame. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Not to mention plasma has liquid like qualities, whereas fire is simply fire. Or so i thought, but I'm not chemist/physicist/science person.

Plasma is a superheated gaseous substance, choose any gaseous substance. In that respect it does resemble a liquid, since gases and liquids follow the same physical dynamics. Otherwise, it's just like fire, except that you typically have to put the gas under a large amount of pressure while heating it to create plasma, so it's more akin to releasing LAZORS upon your foe... Since it would be ejected in a tight stream...

Oravia and Rimalon won Coldfire for me at the Bergraham auction as a surprise gift. It came as 4x, but over the course of a year, I got the flares removed, wizard enchanted it up to 7x, then managed to get the plasma flares re-added at CCF. Good memories.
