+17 and lightning flaring/very resistent to lightning attacks. Is this worth anything? I would think it's helpful that most lightning attacks come from creatures that aren't lightning based/resistance. Unless I'm mistaken.

I'd say so. Great item if you hunt OTF, though that flaring makes enchanting only by PPs and Merchants.

This is very good armor for a warrior or physical paladin who liked to live in the EN. Lightning resistance is the ticket for those crystal weapons. I used something very similar until I hunted Nelemar more (where flares on armor mostly suck). I assume it is in the 50 pound range too. The enchant is going to hurt though for high level folks.

Even so, I think 7.5-10 would be a fair price for it in general. The current crazy market caveats apply.

Though some might disagree with me, it seems always a losing proposition to use PPs on an item you mean to sell. You can seemingly always get more for just selling the points AND the item. That being said, if you mean to use the armor yourself, this is as great a project as any.

I'm going to agree with Fallen. I do not think you will improve the value enough to justify the use of the points.

I speak from personal experience and can confirm the above posts. Don't use Premium Points on things you don't plan to keep for life. You'll almost assuredly lose a good amount of money if/when you sell.

I recently won 4x ice/cold flaring full plate in auction here for 6m. It was also resistant to ice/cold attacks.

But I think many undead are immune to ice/cold, so yours is worth more.
