View Full Version : How to spend 4,000 premium points?

Spending premium points is not something I take lightly and so wanted to ask for some ideas or at least figure out the best value for them.
My current options are:
Save them.
Spend all 4,000 upgrading a set of 4x augmented chain to 4x HCP from 4x SWCP (unless I have the wrong cost for this).
Spend all 4,000 upgrading a 7x blessable waraxe to 8x so I can hit demons straight off.
Sell them.
Obviously, there are a shit load of other options but never having used them, I'm not sure about their value. What about crafting a nice enhancive item? Is there a lot of value there? Lastly, there has been some indication that costs may drop. At this point, should I wait for the review to finish? Other folks are not, even based on the minimal info Sleken has released. Even if we assume that costs will drop, what seems to be the best value via the PP system?

8x blessables aren't that hard to get & if you were to put padding you might as well put it on an unpadded set and just sell the somehwat set. But you probably get more bang for your buck if you just sell the points.

Probably 20M or so for 4,000 points. I think the best value is either padding or weighting a high-enchant armor/weapon or enchanting a heavily padded/weighted armor/weapon. I'm talking 8x or higher and heavy padding/weighting or higher. Those are the things merchants generally won't do

You cannot weight stuff with PPs.

Right, he's suggesting enchanting something that's weighted. Which is a good investment.
Okay, second read and you're right, that's not entirely clear in the good doctor's post. Can't weight weapons with PPs.

8x is nice, but if you're just using it to hunt demons, ask yourself how many demons you need to kill on a daily basis. I don't think I've had more than a couple opportunities to kill one in years.

Sorry I forgot you can't weight weapons but you can do the rest of it. The 8x isn't so much for demons as it is the ease of accomplishing the same upgrade through other means. Most enchanting/weighting/padding merchants will work only on stuff up to 7x (taking it to 8x in the case of enchanting) so premium points are usually the only way to work with higher enchants.

I've had my 9x permabless for like a year now, and have come across one demon. Its DS was too high for me, and a paladin killed it :(

how does adding enhancements via PP work? I see on the website (outdate) there are three tiers costing 1800 1800 2400 and are not rechargeable? is this an attuned only service?
could i add tier 1: +5 COn bonus and +5 max stamina
tier 2:+5 bonus to fitness +5 to MOC
tier 3: +7 to stamina recovery
to my 10x HDP full plate with spikes for 1800 + 1800 + 2400 on someone elses account?
Fairly certain you'd have to buy an account with points on it, move Mumblz to it, and then submit the scroll with Mumblz,
I have an account with 4800 PP on it that I just bought. I'd be willing to sell it, it will be pricey because I'd like to use the points myself.
