Yeah I just got back.

I'm withdrawing from my t3 server at school, and stuck on this shitty-ass 56k (though it only connects at 48k) baud modem. I hate AOL. How the FUCK can the most popular ISP have the slowest connections? This don't make sense. I want to punch Steve Case in the face and the new AOL C.E.O. in the face, too. I hate headphones that are overpriced simply because they have volume control on them, which doesn't make sense because any device you plug them into already has a volume dial. I'm pissed off that Jorge Posada broke his nose. I loathe stand-up comics who do the same routine at different locations. I hate the fact that Kool Keith hasn't done a good album for 8 years. I hate AOL. Netzero sucks donkey dick too.

I also have a special place in my heart for headphones with volume control on them...heh.

Seriously though, I have a set of headphones like that...and it comes in handy if you're walking, running, jogging, working out and have your cd player in one of those holder things--it's easier to get to than having to stop and dig through the case searching for the volume.

Sorry about your sucky internet connection though. I couldn't imagine what I'd be feeling if I had to go from cable back to dial up. <shudder>

I used to like AOL.. but then I heard SHM worked there and now I have this overwhelming urge to break the "Hey, you get 10000 free hours if you try AOL today" disks I get in the mail everyday. I believe he is behind it and should be slapped.

I don't hate AOL, but wish they had some of the features they used to have when it was by the hour.

Free-zone tricks to go into the free zones and then get back into chat without having to pay $2.95/hr

Didn't run credit cards through for 2-3 days. Fake account programs were abundant and they entered in all the information for you. Press a button, new AOL account in 15 seconds.

CTRL + L put you into the Lobby if you were in a chat room. Always fun to tell newbies "Press CTRL + L for a list of age/sex/loc"
