I have 0 lores (in terms of offensive spells) current and it's working plenty fine. I'll be gaining about 30 CS and lores are pretty cheap.

The other option is to drop 9 spells and pick up some summoning.

No spell aim, either? It's not that expensive. Personally, I'd drop enough spells to get 2x SA and 20 ranks of summoning lore so you can use web bolt and fire spirit. 1110 is a really good spell, too, especially with lores.

If I remember right, 2xing MMC lowers the crit threshold of Bone Shatter, Manipualtion lore gives a chances for insta-death. 24 ranks of SMC should be good if you're using it for sending purposes. IMO those points would be better for Manipulation, or Summoning Lore.

Is the FA for skinning? If so, might be worth it to 2x.

1x CMAN is a lot of points.

so, If I drop down to 66 CMAN ranks, 1x PF, and from 169 empath to 160, I can get 2x spell aim and 30 ranks of summoning.

Linking multiple targets, then blast them with Wither (which Manipulation helps as well, I believe) or Empathic Assault (duno if that works, never tried it) should be good fun.

There is no minimum magic ranks required for runestaff parry DS. You have, in your plan, 8 ranks per level, which is exactly equal to (level + 10) ranks of two-handed weapon parry DS. This is the recommended minimum but by no means a requirement. Pures would normally shoot for 11+ ranks per level.

(Weapon ranks + (STR bonus/4) + (DEX bonus/4)) * stance mod = two-handed parry DS

Substitute (level + 10) for the weapon ranks and that's your DS with 8 magic ranks per level (not including runestaff enchant bonus).

The stance mods are:

OFF: .30
ADV: .45
FOR: .60
NEU: .75
GUA: .90
DEF: 1.05

Drop down to .5xCM and get 323422342x PF. The only thing that's going to kill you are SMRs and as an empath, you have the chance to totally mitigate that because you assholes can 3x it.

Edit: Also, since the SMR is skill based (IIRC), you only need 40 ranks of CM before hard DR hits.

I know that currently I have around 600 DS while hunting with wizard spells + my spells and I'm around 6.5x runestaff thingies. I am looking at doing 2x spell aim, which would take me up to 10.3 runestaff ranks.

Depends on where you hunt if you should get spell aim or not. I am mostly in Nelemar and don't miss spell aim at all. I just boneshatter/wither on everything and skip the water elementals. Here's my training at 8.6 mil XP for reference (I know you have a good bit more than that):

Make it your first new post-cap goal. I've gone from 40 to 0 ranks at least 2 times, back up to 45 now. Honestly, it is hard to tell when you don't have them, especially if you aren't able to be disarmed. Just use a Moonstone cube for Bandits and such.

And feint. I decided to drop 13 ranks of cman, which enables to me to keep the full 3x spells. I'll lose the feint, but still have 5 disarm, 4 cdefense. I'll see how it is without those 13 ranks and decide if I wanna start working on lores, mana, or more cman.
