Hey guys,
I've been away from the boards for a long time and I just wanted to check in with you. As many of you are probably aware, I started my first "real" job this past August as a tenure-track math professor. Well, I finally finished my first year at the job and I've come to the realization that it's very time intensive. This conclusion caused me to drop down to CGM status (meaning I'm not a "full" time GM anymore) back around December. This will be a permanent change. I intend to stick around mostly in an advisory type position for the foreseeable future.
Of the projects that I had been working on, the one I intend to see through to the end is Monks. The good news for you guys is that with Monks will come a few new maneuvers for Rogues (Duck and Weave, Slippery Mind and Predator's Eye), and I hope to have some of those in the test instance this summer while my professorial duties are slightly less numerous.
As I'm sure you've noticed, we have another dev GM on the Rogue team, Finros, who is rather fantastic in regards to both talent and motivation. I'm quite glad to have him as a colleague and I'm positive you'll enjoy having him on the team.
So this isn't a good bye, but a pseudo-retirement. I love this game and you guys so I couldn't leave completely. I'll see you around, though decidedly less often.

There's that.
