Free to play MMO - at least, that's what they call it. I'd say it's more like Phantasy Star Online if anyone ever played that. I've been playing a bit and the combat is f'in awesome. The game is ran from the Source Engine so basically everything can be destroyed and blood appears where you hit the enemy. It's not like WoW - where you click someone and then a button. You actually get to change directions and choose your attacks manually. You can also roll (or jump, depending on the hero).

The bad news is there's only three characters right now but they're all pretty fun.

Graphics and sound are great too and the combat is more like a console action game than most MMOs where you just target something and hit a button.

Hopefully it'll keep me occupied until a) PSN comes back up and b) Mortal Kombat fixes its gamebreaking lag.

I'm glad someone else likes it. I thought I was weird for a while. I prefer the combat over press-a-button games as well. It's not that it takes more skill it's just... something different.

Possibly. It's fun to play though so why would I wanna do that? My problem with Gemstone was that scripting was always more fun than actually playing. It reminds me of Phantasy Star Online/Diablo 2 - hack n' slash like a boss. That shit never gets old.

None. I play with my friends and have probably only done a dozen or so parties with randoms. Everything is saved server-side so I'm not sure how much hacking actually goes on. I'm sure it's there but it hasn't affected me at all.

I play on East. And, WTF DO HARD MODE NOOOB. Hard mode isn't all that hard until > 20. Even then, it's pretty easy so far. And yah, that's what it looks like on my PC. I'm not sure why my video sucked so much in the other thread. Kandinator (after my wife) is my primary character which is Fiona.

I'm playing on the West Server mostly. My machine struggles with it, though. Part of it is video and part is me wanting the eye candy and not turning down the settings below low. Even on low it looks good. I should play on lower, though.

I can't wait until they release the new hero. He's a fucking giant that swings a war pillar. How awesome is that? He can also say fuck the pillar and just pound people with his fists. He's also the only character than can grab boss type mobs.

Only play a few missions every other day or so and then stop, the connection to USWEST for me sucks. Lvl 20 lann now.

Tried this for an hour. Even on lowest settings my laptop can't handle it. 
