So I searched, and couldn't find anything--then again the search feature, on the forum, is recently acting wonky. Anyways!

What are some of your favorite Android applications?

Jin what the fuck! You're an iPhone fanboi!

My must-haves:

Kindle for eBooks
Astro File Manager for moving stuff around (usually eBooks I throw on my Dropbox and then move over into the Kindle directory)
Barcode Scanner does all the QR scanning for apps you find on the web, but can also scan items' UPCs in stores and hook in with google shopper to give you prices from the web or local.
Beautiful widgets gives you a shit ton of clock/weather widgets
mNote hooks into Simplenote, a cloud, very sparse note-taking webapp that I use to keep all my notes together. Way less monster-huge than Evernote, which is similar but does a ton more (picture notes, textifying documents you take pictures of for easy searching, etc.)
Facebook/Foursquare/Twitter/Yelp/Etc.
MeeboIM (AIM's app doesn't have auto-correcting for some fucked up reason)
NPR News
Listen (google's podcast app)
NYTimes (cause I'm a communist)
Remember the Milk (paid Task Manager app that hooks in with RTM's webapp)
Ringdroid (make ringtones of any song on your phone, incredible UI and free)
Reader (hooks in with Google Reader subscriptions)
Scorecenter (ESPN's scores app)
Timeriffic (set every option on your phone to change at certain times, I turn my ringer off at work, and my Wi-Fi on at night, etc. lots of other apps do this and have more functionality, like Tasker or Locale, which can use GPS locations to set certain functions).

Damn there's a few more but I'm tired.

Make sure you get the Amazon App Store. They give away one paid app free each day -- most times it sucks, but sometimes it's not bad.

Here's the old thread: http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?p=1101037

I've uninstalled a few from my previous list (Springpad, MixZing), but I'd add the following, a few months later:
Stupid Zombies
FourSquare
Archer soundboard - "Grill me a cheese."
Savage Love
