a brass-studded boiled leather bracer, armworn, SCRIPTED, holds items 2 pounds and under.

>rub bracer
You casually brush a mote of dust from your boiled leather bracer.

>pull bracer
You tighten the straps of your boiled leather bracer, securing it to your arm.

>turn bracer
You adjust the bracer on your arm, loosening the straps and arranging for a more comfortable fit.

>raise bracer
You raise your arm in a defensive gesture in an attempt to have your bracer take the brunt of an upcoming blow.

>open bracer
You tap your boiled leather bracer twice in quick succession, opening a small spring-loaded compartment! As it opens, a gear-hilted black imflass gladius is fired straight into the air, which you deftly catch!

>close bracer
You carefully push down on your boiled leather bracer, closing the panel and securing the spring-loaded compartment.

SOLD ON GENEROUS BUYOUT.

a gear-hilted black imflass gladius

+22, 2 pounds, mechanical flares (slash damage)

Mech flares, of course, always hit the same area of the original wound:

You swing a gear-hilted black imflass gladius at a lesser orc!
AS: +72 vs DS: +73 with AvD: +40 + d100 roll: +93 = +132
... and hit for 18 points of damage!
Bones in right arm crack.

** The small spring-loaded blades attached to your gladius suddenly shoot out with incredible force! **
... 30 points of damage!
Quick, hard slash to the lesser orc's right arm!
*CRACK*
[You have earned 1 prestige point.]
A lesser orc screams one last time and dies.
