People love to gamble. Everyone's thinking "ebow, coin hand, coraesine!".

Not to mention, for some people, it's the best chance they're going to get to jump up in the merchant atmosphere. Get yourself a really 'wanted' item, and you have a shot at acquiring gear that you'd never get otherwise.

It's why I ended up spending wayyy too much to get my ticket. :medieval: Wish I'd made my comeback when they initially went on sale, to avoid having to purchase one at scalper's prices.

Considering I am sure some people have done 40 runs easy, Some 1-3 run people will get some nice stuff, but all in all, most of the items will congregate to a few people over time.

I'm fully expecting to get an unlimited crystal amulet, or one of those mage rechargeable 602 / +4 Elemental Lore items. Hell, I'm trying to psyche myself up for the coins that you get from yanking on ropes left and right. Anything else is a bonus... or so I keep telling myself.

Well sofar, I've gotten a Skinning knife, and a Greater Elemental Steam dagger,

so my knife has more than paid for this run, so if I win I win, and if I don't I'm still ahead.

thats what I figured as well, I pulled 2 items that made it all worth while. Also got into 1 semi run, and was able to pick up a few runs for friends.

Would I have liked to get something I would use? Sure. Am I disappointed, no.
