Probably like any other outside spell (that's not enhancive knowledge). I know in the rift, perm items get stripped with all the rest and then you just have to rub them again ever 1.5 minutes or whatever.

But it is pretty easily accessible, if you know an Empath, Cleric etc.

I personally would rather have the ring over a healer, but that is because I prefer being self-sufficient as a character than having to rely on others to get spells I'd like to have.

But that isn't so easy to do :(
