This just started happening, but when I run Warcraft now a days the memory it uses shoots up to 250,000 causing my WoW latency to go up as high as 3000 ms.

Anyone ever have any problems like this? I've tried restarting my comp or shutting it down for a couple hours and it is still happening. Never had this problem before.

Anyone know any fixes? The latency issue is starting to get on my nerves.

Don't use UI mods?

I'm not. Just a few add-on mods like All in 1 inventory, autobag, and simple self cast, and maybe 1-2 others. But no big UI's like gypsy, cosmos, or ctmod.

Any mod could have a memory leak. Try disabling them one by one and see if it helps.

WoW is a memory hog in the first place though. Don't dun it with anything less than 1gb

It runs fine for me with 512.

Fine is relative to the user.

Supposedly the most recent patch has a huge memory leak in it, whatever that frickin' means. I recently went up to a full gig and noticed a complete change in my lag. I have NONE now for the most part. Before I upgraded it, it would be insanely bogged down, and I had no mods at all other than raidassist. Can't say that would fix it, but might want to consider if that's the case with you.

Wasn't a problem for me until tonight. For some reason during loads (when entering an instance or when HSing) it sits there for like 60 seconds while it loads.

I'm going to log off the other account that's logged in to this PC. Maybe she left something running that's fucking me up.

The thing is I never had this problem before, even with all my mods (30+) and I'm running 1g of dual ddr

Not sure if this will help. Might actually hurt if you use it while playing but its nice for right before you log in.

edit: might help if i said what it was. It is a program to free up the RAM on your computer. It will keep track of how much you have and how much you have free etc...
