I am a bit tired of anything my friends listen to and can recommend.
So post it up.

My recommend would be The Weepies.

Any song you find on YouTube by this band will make you smile.

Anyway, thanks.

I thought Ryan Woodward was one of the Weepies and then I thought "I thought this song was called World Spins Madly On?? My life is a lie!" and then I thought "wait... one of the suggestions is the official Weepies video for the title I thought" and then I thought "... :("

Jolene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqrJJ6-f1co), by Ray LaMontagne, not a version of the Dolly song.

Making an apperance in last night's Justified, Annabelle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceDxO50GVes), by Gillian Welch. Justified is a television programmmeee here in, as you call them, Los Estados.

A cover of The Weight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXf-SuBbJa0) by Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

Cloud Cult's There's So Much Energy in Us (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlE3VE2mTzY). It would be better if you could listen to the whole album first.

The Chamomile Tea Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XR3SWGYoXg)

This is the debut album which is a little old but very good:

Mickey Mouse Operation by Little People (http://www.littlepeoplemusic.com/)

You've probably heard of these guys but I'll toss them in here because they are too good to not mention:

This Too Shall Pass by OK Go (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJKythlXAIY)

Anything by Lisa Gerrard (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbHPTPUpQ1I&feature=related) including her work on Dead Can Dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJhVM930YXY).

Try the band 'Old Crow Medicine Show'. All their songs are good, particularly 'Wagon Wheel'

I’ve been exploring more retro lately. This station is a gem for soul/funk.

Before I click on any of these... are any of these metal or are they all about feelings that don't include rage? Although I do like funk. I'll click the radio station.

She is a country singer, but she's too young and too green to really sing country if you ask me. Granted, I dislike any of that pop-country bs.

I'm so non-conformist, that I'm going to non-conform to your conformity to dislike Taylor Swift, thus, liking her (and kinda wanting to do her). One thing I do find interesting is that she has gotten with like 15 dudes, and hasn't been labeled a slut yet.

The bolded part make me look her up. She looks kinda like Laura Prepon.

Oh, she sings or something? Didn't look that up.

I also wanted to say that OK GO are clever for miles. How do they keep coming up with these videos?

I dislike taylor swift.Girl, you better go back to December, turn around and change your own mind. I hope that convinces you, because I don't know any other Taylor Swift lyrics.

You are probably already aware of this group/song but I was playing it for my co-worker this morning and her primal scream scared the hell out of him.

I'm So Sick by Flyleaf (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWIADZKU9dw)

I used to like that flyleaf song. It gets a bit boring after about 50 seconds though.

I don't mind as much since it's perfect workout music. The repetition works for my repetitions :)

Been listening to Sean Hayes today. You might know him from the "This is Powerful Stuff" song on the Subaru commercials, but he is fucking awesome.
