Hey all,
I'm guessing you dudes all use dropbox already, but if you don't yet use my link (http://db.tt/LM3cygB) to sign up cause then we both get 250 MB free (2.25GB total). I've been using it for about a year, it's pretty fucking handy to sync documents between your computers. But it also pulls them down into your actual dropbox folder on your computer as well--so you have access to them if you're offline.
You can also send a link to someone to share your 'shared folder'--I use it a lot to send music or tv shows to people and my 2 GB limit is totally keeping me from sending people game of thrones and shit, so I want MOAR.
Here's my link, click it: http://db.tt/LM3cygB
EDIT: plus this kitten

Yeah I drop tons of stuff into it for work and then it's just there on my work computer. The only thing to remember is if it's a word document and you save it to your dropbox folder you have to close the document before it'll fully sync to all your other computers. Also, super handy feature: if you right-click on any file and hover your mouse over "Dropbox" and then look there's an option to see all earlier versions of a doc that you've saved. So you can recover changes.
It's HOT!

k I'm never posting about dropbox after this.
EDIT: I lied--also there is dropbox apps for iPhone/Android and you can have all your docs on your phone. Alright, I'm done. I swear.

Recently I've been using my Dropbox to tell uTorrent on my laptop at home to download a file while I am at work.

I use dropbox for a lot of transient stuff.
After a major HD failure, I did sign up and pay for Carbonite. 139 for 3 years. After 4 days, its backed up nearly 20gb of music and movies, tv, and all my pix and important documents.
Once I get the restored HD back, I'll be adding another 20gb to that.
Its nice seeing the little green dot that assures me the file is backed up.

The lich sync'ing is awesome--I use it to sync my scripts folder.
And since you guys bumped it...
Thanks to the 5 PC'ers who signed up! My heart was warmed.
