Agreed. This is one of the few, if not the only (Unless V created one back in the day) unlocked Dauntless scrolls.

No big deal. If you unlock correctly you're talking at least 60-80 uses of Dauntless, probably more than that. No one in their right mind would use any of the other spells.

Actually, when I said it was "scripted," it was because I'd seen Japh "smooth out the wrinkles." Apparently, though, that's typical to scrolls. So, it might work with your book after all.

I tried another scroll.. just rub scroll and it smooths things out, so no, I don't believe it is scripted

Knowing the value of the scroll (150k) and looking at the other spells on it, would some sorcerer chime in here with an estimate on how many charges of 1606 one could get out of this book? I know Fallen estimated 60-80, but I'm not sure if that changes as a result of the high value.

I would say over 100, perhaps 150. It wouldn't be too hard to tell once it is infused, an invoke of Dauntless is used, then the item resung to determine value. Might be wise to then top off via infuse, then sing again for value. After all of that, it is just a matter of Calculating when the scroll's value would hit 0. The cost per invoke in silvers is constant, but it varies by spell. Kardios did some testing to determine values. I should really just blow through the work with a bard someday.
