Selling the following:

-A Handsome Enchanter's Moneybag:
The large moneybag is tailored from sheets of flawlessly spun spidersilk encircled with bands of purest gold. The bag is lined with soft black velvet to conceal the jingling of the various treasures held within. Small, sharpened silver hooks stitched into the mesh, attach the well-packed bag securely to the wearer's belt. The flap is adorned with a single, sparkling coin-shaped midnight-blue diamond. Upon the side, the words "Elanthian Enchanters Commerce Association" are stitched in silvery threads.

You analyze your enchanter's moneybag and sense that the item is free from merchant alteration restrictions.

You can tell that the moneybag is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper

You estimate that a handsome enchanter's moneybag can store a large amount with enough space for any number of items.

You determine that you could wear the moneybag, attaching it to your belt. The moneybag appears to serve some purpose.

Weighs 3lbs - Holds 50

MB: 8 Million
BO: 12 Million

Will go once, twice, sold. All bids through PC mail please.

I will test the capacity when I am able to get in game.

As for the comments concerning the price..... It is an old and sentimental piece, with a very unique alteration, and max lightened/deepend. If it does not sell, then that is fine also. But for me to let it go, that is what it would require. There is no pressure on you to buy it. Thank you and happy bidding if you so desire.

Who cares? Based on the sentimental value to the seller alone, everyone should be bidding on this.

I added the weight and capacity to the post.

As for the comments, I stated earlier that I would post them when I was able to get in game. As for the sentimental comment, I am not sure if that was in jest or not, but again there is no pressure on anyone to purchase. Just because you may not personally like the price, it is what it is.

Thank you all for your inquires and hope all pertinent information is provided for any perspective buyers.

Why are people so quick to put a premium on things that are "sentimental" and sell them?

I sold the very first crystal amulet I ever found for 5 million silvers.

Why wouldn't they be?

I bought an item recently that I have wanted for ever. I paid 3x market rate because the person I bought it from was "sentimental".

I also listed a drake item for way more than it would sell for, 5m to be exact, and I didn't catch any grief for doing it.

I just think the idea that something is sentimental means its worth more to he or she who holds the sentiment... which isn't transferable. So to put that in perspective, if you want to buy my ruddy cloak from me and then I tell you its sentimental, I have the right to charge ten billion coins. This is way different than me putting it up on the auction block on my own volition.

Beyond that, I think what irks me more is that its some universal defense for setting outrageous prices. If you set a price, cool, if no one pays, cool.

To reach into your bag of tricks and say how "important" it is to you and that's why you set the price - that seems silly. If its so important it wouldn't be on the auction block.

An item that I have had for over 6 years, I do consider sentimental.. as are all of my items to me. Since returning there are a number of items I am interested in aquiring, so sooner or later I have to sell something.

I am not upping the price on anyone due to this fact, but due to a number of factors. If you can get another alteration done as such in todays lands, then max lighten and deepen it, then by all means do so. Last thing I will say on the matter.

Right. To you. So...8 million for a 3lb bag that holds 50 pounds and is ugly as shit? Last thing I will say on the matter.

This is just to good to pass up, so a comment on the comments thus far. I have provided all the detailed information, been cordial with my responses, and explained myself.

Yet for some reason, the replies seems to be negative, for no other reason than an individuals personal reason to think the price is high. Again as I said earlier, if you do not like the price, then do not bid or offer. But to make such negative remarks based off of what you think an item should be, as opposed to the asking price makes me wonder.

I did not realize these forums after being gone for so long would invite this type of hostility.

Hopefully future transactions here will be more cordial and informative.

A seller has the right to charge whatever the hell they want for their items. As the prospective buyer, you have the right to not buy it.
