I have acquired another set of these entertaining dice.
Some jet black obsidian dice: Crafted from obsidian, the surfaces of the large glittering dice have been polished to a glossy sheen. Small slivers of asterfire quartz adorning the six sides of each die serve as pips, sans the single, which is instead depicted by the intricately cut image of a lightning bolt racing across the sky.
Can be rolled 5x per day.
Roll - Probability - Spell
2- 1/36 - Floating Disk
3- 2/36 - Elemental Bias
4- 3/36 - Stone Fist
5- 4/36 - Cone of Lightning
6- 5/36 - Thurfel's Ward
7- 6/36 - Strength
8- 5/36 - Elemental Deflection
9- 4/36 - Immolation
10-3/36 - Hurl Boulder
11-2/36 - Meteor Swarm
12-1/36 - Elemental Focus
You give the obsidian dice a hesitant shake for luck before rolling them on the ground.
As the obsidian dice roll, they appear to grow, almost doubling in size before they finally stop to show a 5 and 2. Suddenly...
You feel much stronger.
The obsidian dice then disappear, only to reappear in your hand once again.
First offer of 15 million takes them. Will also trade for a fireball ring.

How many times a day can you roll these and what happens if you roll it inside a sanctuary and it casts an offensive spell like MS or immo or cone? Does the cone hit everyone including players or critters only?

You can roll them 5x per day. After that they act like regular dice for the remainder of the day.
I haven't tried rolling them with a sanctuary up but can give that a try.
When I rolled the cone last time I was the only person in the room - it hit me and there was some messaging related to hitting everyone in the room so I am guessing that it would hit everyone in the room (not just critters).

Minor sanctuary disables the dice entirely. I rolled them 5 times inside a sanctuary (11, 6, 6, 6, 5) with no effect then moved to an adjacent room and managed to roll lucky 11 with the appropriate accompanying meteor strike.

So when you get a beneficial spell, how long does the 'cast' last?
Is that based off of your spell knowledge, MIU/AS knowledge?
And for spells that get bonuses from lore, do they apply if you have that lore type?
the bolt spells, what generates AS/DS? Is it your AS at the time vs your DS at the time? Seems like it'd be easy to avoid. Immolation wards or no?

I rolled Elemental Focus which has a base duration of 10 minutes. After 22 minutes with the spell still active I had a great amount of time remaining for this spell (per 405) which I believe means at least an hour of time remaining. In the back of my mind I seem to recall that beneficial casts would last for 2 hours.
The roller has no MIU and no lores:

I went through my logs from when I was playing with these things the first time around. The bad rolls are hidden so no idea what is factored in. My limited experience is that they aren't easy to avoid:
A dark grey shadow falls over the obsidian dice as they roll, and a rumbling thunder sound is heard before they finally stop to show a 4 and 1. Suddenly...
Bolts of lightning hurl forth from the obsidian dice, striking everyone in sight!
The obsidian dice thud loudly as they roll, small bits of rock seemingly chipping off at each spin,
before they finally stop to show a 5 and 5. Suddenly...
A huge boulder suddenly appears and hurls into you!
The obsidian dice roll quickly, bright red flames trailing behind them, before they finally stop to show a 6 and 5. Suddenly...
A low roar of quickly parting air can be heard above!

I meant you could put up resistant armors to avoid the negative rolls. Hurl boulder does crush, impact, or earth criticals? If crush or impact you could have a warrior put up that to 50%, then have me put up fire to 95%, and be protected from a couple of the bad ones.
