So which is it?

Well as of right now, I am swinging a two-handed sword. but was wondering how a polearm would work. It is still much cheaper then training sword/board.

I was reading about the spell casting, but what would my training look like if I was a pure? I'm still in my 30 days.

Also what would I hunt with starting out? Harm/heal? Boneshatter will be too expensive at the start.

One thing, if you're going to be a THW user you should drop your harness to 1x, or 1x-2 (you only get 1 extra mana per rank after your current level of HP).

As a 2handed empath myself I picked up 20 ranks of spirit summoning lore (also helps with fire spirit in warcamps) and I doubled spell aim for a web bolt. I also made sure to triple spells until I had 215, doubled until I got to 120, and am now singling spells until it drops to a 2x rate. You'll also want 5 ranks of MOC soonish for the double enemy strike. Once my spells come in line with 2x per level I'll be near 1x Combat Maneuvers as well.

I have started using my web bolt less and less and am kind of wishing I hadn't done that though.
