So my undergraduate collegiate career is finally over. Gorgeous day, good ceremony, speaker pronounced my name correctly, drinking beer with the parents, and going out to dinner with girlfriend's family. All-in-all, life is good.
Have a wonderful day everybody.

Hee! Brain fart! Just ignore me. I have both parents living in the same house, with me in it, for the time being. It is most interesting around here. :D
HarmNone will correct her silly error

Cherish it, I've a feeling that things don't ever get as good as they once were in college, ever again. And I'm only a year out (or a year in, if you consider Real Life like a prison term).

I get out in another 33 days. But that's broken near the end by Simucon, so it's ok. I still can't wait.
I wish :( all this thread does is remind me that a lot of the people I came into school with are graduating and I'm not. Stupid 5 year degree programs. Damn you architecture!

Next year's going to suck, because that's when a good chunk of my friends finish high school.

Congratulations SP! My college graduation was a year ago this weekend. I was graduated, engaged, and less than three months from my wedding.
What did you get your degree in, and what are your plans for the future?

Congrats, SP! Sounds like your day was a good one. And yes, what do you plan on doing now?

This thread depresses me, cause I'll never be in college again. Boo. :(
Edited to add: I have a sudden, overwhelming urge to be a college prof. Hmph.

Why can't you go for a graduate degree, The E? I'm going to go back in the next two years for the next step.

Congrats, a real achievment and one to saviour (sp?).
Good luck with the future and may you meet with as much success in the life after school as you apparently did with life in school.
Back to the regular flaming tomorrow!
Kudos goes out though where it's deserved and kudos to you for following through and finnish what you started.

My BBA is in Computer Information Systems. I am currently on track for a job in Maryland, but who knows how long the process will take. My dad met someone at my graduation who also went to the Naval Academy, and his superior officer was one of his roommates. This person works at CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation), and I'll probably be sending him a resume next week just in case. Anyway, I'm just gonna be sitting around town, working out and doing rehab for my knee until June, and I'm gonna wing it from there. In other words, I'm not going to be working for a while still.

I will be going back to school in 2 years, hopefully, SG.
But that's GRAD school. I'll have to actually put my nose to the grindstone (as opposed to getting Bs with minimal effort). I want to do GOOD in grad school, not just do okay, and have a good time. All this time I've been saying "No one really cares how you did in high school.."....."No one really cares how you did in undergrad..." That's definately not true in grad school...
No more lounging around on Boston Common, that's for sure. :(
