If it's any consolation, I used to own the "a rat trap" back in the day, and I gave it to either Archales or some other player with a name that starter with the letter A.

Was an awesome item back in the Spike days, you'd put it on the ground, open it up and any "rat" would get caught in it and die, then you could loot it.

No one could also pick it up off the ground but the person who dropped it. I wonder who has it now, if it is still in circulation of the living gemstone world

I dunno, I figured it would comfort him in his search of a rat dagger that may or may not exist since he has yet to find one?

And that if not, there is a cool rat trap out there instead to pwn rats with!

I actually found consolation in his post. It's likely the rat deathdagger has gone to the grave with an inactivated account.

Pity, too, since I could put the rat deathdagger to good use.

I'm not trained in OHE, but hunt giant rats for pelts to use in warrior guild sheaths.

Even without OHE training, I have a good AS against giant rats (strength bonus, CM bonus, etc.).

I *could* skin with a rat deathaxe, but a rat deathdagger would be much better.

As it is, I hunt and skin giant rats for pelts using a 0x silver skinning dagger.

No offense but this seems like a bit of a silly purchase then, wouldn't you just be better off spending 50k on a 4x dagger than a few million on what will essentially be a 4x double flaring dagger?

Why would he even want to buy a rat deathdagger simply to kill and skin rats is beyond me?

Unless he's going for some sort of RP purpose as well, like conquerer of rats everywhere...Then maybe I could see the need for one.

But why not just use a plain 0x dagger like you are? Or otherwise as Sean mentioned a 4x dagger that cost like 20k in shops.
