Need help w/ wizard training

Hey everyone, I'm really interested in the wizard profession but I really dont know how to place my stats or train. I want to be a pure caster with fire lore as my focus. I think using a runestaff would be best. Any advice on race (i can adjust to roleplaying, i just want the best race) and skill training/stat placement. I wanna get started im just afraid of messing up.

I did the auto train way back when. Didn't have the availability of the stats for max at cap. I triple trained spells and wore robes all the way to cap. It worked for me.

There's plenty of threads where people have posted their training. You have 30 days of migration and annual fixskills. Also, bolt wizard builds are pretty straight forward. It's not like you'd have broad sweeping changes to migrate through in the absence of a fixskills.

With respect to races... read and see what's most important to you.

Figure out what level your aiming for. Be it, 100, or level 50. If you want to go all the way, use Tsoran's to max out all stats at the level you're aiming for. Triple in spells is pretty easy. I usually go air, but any lore shoud work. after that try to to get as much CM, MOC, and anything that will help in your secondary directions (pure is your first).
