And to remain on topic.. why would you kill her in town? I always found that a quick removal of their right hand is enough to correct this type of behavior. If they require further training, then entire arm would be next. If after they still do not understand.. then kill them because they are obviously too stupid to know any better.

Rules are there for a reason and although sometimes minor infractions can be overlooked, it's pretty offensive if someone is flipping the finger to others. At least to me it is.
