There is no good items from the Treasure Hunt game really, they stated it can only be up to 6x enchant on things along with flares or padding.

This digging is not like EG digging as it has a different treasure feeder so don't go expecting uber stuff like SD Vambraces etc

No, but in comparison to what alot of people think are in it, they'd think so I'm sure. At least some of them digging away not knowing it

so far... found an ora dagger, an ora trident, a few other 1x weapons, a damage weighted 1x bodkin, a damage weighted 1x truncheon, a 1x gold inlaid breastplate, a 1x steel-riveted breastplate, and some 2x steel-riveted armor (doubles).

Also got a ring with a few charges of cloak of shadows and a blank neckchain -both persist, and a handful of scrolls.

So I haven't been around gemstone for 5+ years, have they made it easier to test weighting, etc on weapons? Or are we still stuck finding a bard?

Bard tells you if it has it, warrior tells you how much.

Couple hundred shovels later - best find was 1x full leather. And nothing else but 3 kinds of gem, coins, and trash. This kinda sucks compared to EG digging.

I've found a lot of shit in this game.. I know some of it is junk, but I have probably pulled out twenty weapons or so, and one suit of armor. I think about four or five with enchanter's marks. I don't have a bard handy to sing for me, so I guess time will tell if it was worth it. And just pulled another weapon as I was typing this. (although looks a little junky - mithril no enchanter's mark).

And with enough Premium Points, PCALC will tell you exactly how many points of it.
