New: Since so many people use lich, lnet seems to be the best option for this. tune to the spitfire chat channel for spitfire news, random banter, insults, and links you wouldn't want your mother to see.


Anyone want to use mibbit again for this? Mibbit's servers are having issues at the moment. I'd rather wait for them to come up to avoid potentially splitting the group unless someone has a good non-efnet server to suggest.

Yeah, I said the server is down at the moment but should be back up before 9. But if we want to use a different server I'll edit the link.

NM, enterthegame doesn't allow mibbit. We can do efnet, but there's a ton of people on there and a nick limit of 9 characters.

Ok, so pretty much if you don't use lich and want to chat about it, install it. If you're too paranoid to install it, I'm sure it's not that hard to create a chat client to hook into it. GL.

LNET is likely the win button, like V said, it's all on your in-game screen so no need to tab out, use multiple monitors etc for other chat rooms.

But mibbit is still a possibility for those who don't have Lich, I will likely be in both myself
