The harmonics generated tell you that the greaves serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds. Padding is temporary haven't had it checked for how much.

Incredible isn't the padding level, just the amount of hits. You're gonna need to get it assessed to know the amount of padding.

Yeah, that was discussed in the appraisal thread for these, I believe. The selling point is the enhancives a lot more than the temp padding is.
