a gem-encrusted rolaren broad axe, +20, 6 lbs., scripted

SHOW:
Various gems of different hues have been expertly arranged along the length of this axe, forming a spiraling pattern all the way to the base of the blade. The blade is engraved from end to end with the image of a dragon, wings spread as if in flight.

Is enchantable, able to be Paladin/Warrior Bonded which transfers to both weapons.

glance
You glance down at your empty hands.
>get axe
You remove a gem-encrusted rolaren broad axe from in your spidersilk cloak.
>open my axe
Holding your axe with both hands, you press a small button in the hilt and separate the weapon into two halves.
>glance
>
You glance down to see a gem-encrusted rolaren broad axe in your right hand and a gem-encrusted rolaren broad axe in your left hand.
>close my axe
Holding the two halves of your axe in each hand, you carefully recombine the two halves of your weapon into one.

Aww. I though these where the real gem encrusted weapons that accepted gems for flares/weighting.

Are there any significant benefits to these outside of bonding, being enchantable and getting two weapons for the price of one?

The fact that you end up bonding both of your weapons I think...a normal TWC could only bond one of two. Beyond that it's the money saving on getting 2 for 1 for everything...weighting, flares, enchanting etc...

No other mechanics "bonuses" in a sense that other weapons may have.

Just your normal axe's, with the exception of instead one, you have two.

Thus you can enchant "it" and the enchant sticks with both when split etc.

I don't know about PP surcharges but I imagine there may be one on these for enchanting etc
