I am thinking about moving from OTF to the Temple. Does anyone have any hunting suggestions?
Thanks

Avoid using DC on the first floor, or being on it entirely. I think everyone hunts towards the top to avoid the GWEs and water/lightning effects. 703 on the Sentries is a good idea the second you see them to avoid being imploded. As they are non-corp and could have a spell prepped as you enter the room, it is best to not take any risks. 708 anything not non-corp to stop them from doing maneuver attacks. I would set up macro's to that effect, along with 703.
Swimming is key there, so ensure you have at a minimum 50 ranks, but likely better off with a full 1x to help give you a decent chance of fending off that drowning maneuver. Spells like 112 and 207 will help against that as well.
Another crazy maneuver there is CMAN Charge. This *will* get a pure killed, if not outright by the crit, then afterwards by the massive RT. A long term goal is to train up CM to 1x, PF to 1x, and Perception to 2x. I don't know what armor you are in, but overtraining in Armor Use can reduce the maneuver penalty you face, allowing you to further increase your chances of survival (Clarification: For NON-CMAN attacks, such as a GWE body slam).
Ultimately, the best step you can take now is Crit padding on your head/neck, if not all over, AND a Warrior's resistance. I can't recall what damage type charge does, either piece or crush, but definitely get your armor warrior serviced against that type of damage. It will reduce deaths dramatically.
I would suggest using 130 in your cloak. Lengthy stuns and RT locks will be par for the course should you be caught there. With creatures walking around that can and will 1-shot you, it is best to risk a Cloak backlash rather than sit around and ride out a stun.
I'm sure others will have more to add.
717 combatants or Estrike them for a 1 shot kill. If it doesn't kill them outright it will definitely disable them, buying you some time.
Cast 711 (pain IIRC) on defenders (non corp), that will kill them in 3 shots and of course buy you time since they can't have their limbs blown off without 704 first.
Also, the charge is puncture.

To be honest hunting Nelemar as a Sorcerer is less dangerous than hunting the Bowels.
I am not sure what your level is. However as a Sorcerer you can hunt everything in the Temple.
The above advice is good.
As mentioned 50 ranks of swimming in combination with 112 is enough to swim into the temple.
I personally wouldn't use 130 for retribution unless the powers that be have fixed it that you don't get backlash. I use 708. There have been others who swear 717 works well in there for retribution. As a pure if you get hit we all know it can be a death sentence.
The third floor is easy street. There is no water for them to try to drown you and you don't have to worry about electricity.
The Second Floor has all the youngest creatures in the temple but as mentioned it is full of water. Don't use electricity. Watch out for the drowning maneuver.
Basement.. well it is the lower part of the second floor. Here the oldest creatures in the temple spawn. Again it is full of water.
Executioners are easy but they are rogues and will ambush, leg sweep, and cut throat. - Carry stem with you.
Combatants don't stun except with 717 which normally kills them. They do have an annoying habit of disarm, the horn that scares you into another room and the charge maneuver attack.
Radicals are paladins and will cast some paladin spells against you as well as use the charge maneuver. These don't stun either.
Defenders as mentioned are undead. They can disarm and use the charge maneuver.
The best defense against that maneuver is to strike first and disable. Get piercing resistance on your armor. This has saved me lots of times. Padding helps and PF.
The Water Elementals and Greater Water Elementals, I personally avoid them but focus implosion helps here. They can drop a gem but it isn't worth the mana. They have two nasty attacks. One is a wave type maneuver. The other is to form a whirlpool.
Sirens are bards. If you fail your rolls against their songs they will make you put your weapon away and sit to listen to them sing. 719 destroys them.
Sentries these are level 103 undead. If you are wandering around and hear a thrumming sound. They are summoning all the creatures in the immediate area to them. They are sorcerers. So 703 is your friend. Their Focused Implosion is a death sentence. They also cast pain.
Dissemblers are low level Sorcerers. Normally they cast 705 with the occasional Focused Implosion
Magus are Ranger Archers. They will snipe. Their arrows if you get hit will have a paralyzing poison. They do cast sounds, spike thorn and use feint.
No creature will loot your corpse. However if you are disarmed, do expect to have it picked up by a creature.

True, I have to use outside spells to avoid their spells getting past my TD. 703 fortunately is your friend.
My CS is 515 which is good enough for all of the creatures there except for the Sentries. Normally I cast 703 to prevent them from casting spells. 715 to lower their TD. 711 to keep them in RT. Don't bother casting CS spells at Water Elementals and Greater Water Elementals, their TDs are ridiculous.
Any sorc being warded by anything needs to retire.

I can't blame people for not wanting to bother with 714 all the time. It is probably the most complicated spell in the game.

Amen. A real shame and one of the reasons I sold out.
I had nightmares about components.

ROFL!
714 really isn't that bad when compared to Animate Dead. I still carry the components to animate but I find that spell a nuisance. The only reason I am keeping my 100 or so ranks of Necro is for the spell 711.
As for retiring? I am more amused with this.
>remove my bow
You sling a silk-gripped recurve bow off from over your shoulder.
>glance
You glance down to see nothing in your right hand and a silk-gripped recurve bow in your left hand.
>look bow
Dyed a muted grey, this simple yet elegant ruic bow is a masterwork of bowyer's craft. Golden golvern inlays line the nocks and the outer spans of the handgrip, each brushed to a matte finish. Fine white raw silk has been carefully wrapped about the handgrip in a crossing pattern, ensuring a comfortable grip. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Speaking of Animate Dead, if you are one who dabbles in it, the Triton Radicals (~level 100) are the best bang for your buck. Give them an e-bladed polearm and enjoy.
You can animate the defenders and sentries but you have to phase them first and move extremely quickly.
Zhelas, I can't remember if I told you I hate you or not!!

Yeah Nelemar is very easy for a sorcerer. 717 combatants/executioners, 719 sirens/radicals (finish with whatever if they don't die in 1 shot, pain if you want to be safest I suppose), 705 or 711 defenders, 703 then 711 sentries, 410 or 709 GWEs then 720. Again, don't use 719 on the second floor (which is really the first floor basically, but it's called the second).
You can also get puncture resist and crit padding to help with charges. If you stick to the third floor the only thing that will kill you is a random charge eye crit of doom.
