So my dad gets up at 7 and opens the fridge door and takes out the milk and sitting behind the milk... was my cat Felix. Felix is a kitten, a curious kitten and he tries to get in the fridge. Apparently my brother ate something before he went to bed last night at 1 AM and the cat got in and he shut the door... And so the cat was in the fridge till 7 AM this morning.

I am just grateful that he didn't have hypothermia and that he was alive because that was a really long time.

If you have cats, try to check before you do things...

So why should I be careful? The thing has fur and it's a fridge meaning it should be set between 40-45 degrees F.

Pain retains, that cat will stay out of the fridge from now on if it doesn't like the cold.

This is just more proof that cat's are nowhere near as cool as dogs, well that one is as cool (fridge cool hah get it shut up)

My cat was in the drawer underneath the oven when my dad was cooking something. Half an hour later I heard him crying. Another cat has been stuck in a closet overnight more than once.

A friend of mine killed her cat by shutting him inside her old recliner accidentally. He crawled up and got cozy then got smooshed by the mechanism when she got up to go to bed.

Always check the dryer before turning it on, if you have kittens.

Not that I would know anything about that first-hand.

We had alot of cats on the farm die due to finding a warm spot by crawling up through a wheel well and sitting on the engine.

And there are the ones we kick up out of a field with the combine, though that tends to get more rabbits than anything.

That was my sweet little kitten! And no he didn't learn, he tried to get back in a few hours ago. His little paws were so cold...

What we really can't figure out is how he got to the topshelf and how he got behind the milk container... nothing was knocked over. it's almost like someone placed him there but no one would do that.

And if you have an iguana and live in a cold temperature areas, don't let them roam free when you have the window open :(

I had an iguana a while back. I live in MA, so it tends to get cold there. I let the guy roam free once and he somehow got out, found him freezing his ass off in some big grass. He made it though.

Mine made it through too, I found mine frozen to the window screen though.

Awesome:smilegrin:

I actually like them ugly sons of bitches. Even though I still have some scars on the arms for not having protection from the claws after picking them up.

I can't get enough of them either my 1st one unfortunately escaped, another thing to be careful! if you have a dog that gets spooked by loud noises ie: fireworks and punches wholes in screens when frightened don't let your iguana roam free unattended, but I'm getting a new one this week from someone who can no longer care for theres. I didn't get any scars from the nails but the tail on mine was massive ... and hurt if you didn't catch him by suprise to pick him up.

Damn, I forgot about those tails. Mine had a hardcore tail that never even got discolored from falling off and then having to regrow. I remember I had these thick gloves, would pick him up, but the guy still whipped me with that tail.. Youch! Mine was a fat body too. I never knew that greens could make them that fat :?:
