This is a pretty big story in SA. One of those things where everyone knows his name even though they are not publishing it. I looks like the guy just snapped and started killing random people in the nearby township after his daughter was raped.

Also there is probably more sympathy for him in SA than there would be here because of the sense that the police do little to nothing to investigate these types of cases and the feeling of hopelessness that can bring. People understand how he snapped even if they don't condone it.
