red rot?

ok, not sure what happened to me, but many many years ago I had the red rot and I can't remember, but it seems like it looked alot like this.

here's what's going on with my dwarf

Blood begins to run from your eyes and ears.

It's been doing it for a long time now, I was hoping it would just run out, I've tried unpoison and undisease, even though neither was showing up on health check.

Someone must know what this is, and how to get rid of it. It sucks. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

Maybe the character has been inactive since then? I'd try to spread it if possible.

I haven't been inactive I've been playing for probably 7 straight years now on this character, maybe even longer, but this did happen to me one other time and I thought that it was red rot, but then it went away on its own when next I logged on, so I forgot all about it. It is pretty strange.

I used to play back in the day when Red Rot first hit, and all my characters are dwarves so the symptoms definetly seem familiar.

As for spreading it, I've been walking around, I'm sure other dwarves have been around me, I don't know what it would take to spread it but who knows, I need to find an antidote though quick, 3 seconds of RT every 10 seconds is really fucking me up.

That is some funny shit! Hopefully someone someday will find this thread by looking for keywords in a search, because I researched the shit out of this and couldn't find a damn thing. That was good stuff. btw, there's a Moulis loose on the trail to EN! haha!

I rarely carry deeds anymore, back in the day I lost a character to spirit death and lost him forever. That was when a deed meant something.

I guess I'm living in the past. How'd they get nerfed?

You don't lose your character any more if you decay without deeds. I quit the game 6 years ago and that change was active.

You do still take some harsher penalties for dying without a deed, and decaying without a deed. But no permanent character loss.

Obviously. The cure is to wait for aliens to burst out of your chest.

Go to a non-sancted area and wait for a moulis to pop out of your chest.
