a blue spinel studded bronze talisman
The studded bronze talisman contains the spell Elemental Defense III, from the Minor Elemental circle.
The talisman resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 3 to Max Stamina.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 6 times.
It provides a bonus of 8 to Edged Weapons Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 36 times.
It provides a bonus of 6 to Two Weapon Combat Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 21 times.
The talisman looks to have quite a few charges remaining.
You sense that the studded bronze talisman will crumble into dust after its last enhancive charge has been expended.
You sense that the studded bronze talisman will persist after its last magical charge has been expended.

I hope it was above 10 million.

Yeah that was a very nice item. Anyone using TWC OHE would just about kill for that, and even if you weren't TWC it's still a dang nice OHE enhancer.

I paid 1m for it. I sold it for more. It wasn't 10 million, but I don't think it was worth 10 million as its crumbly. But I have a +14 OHE orb with no level restriction you can have for 20+m.

I would have definitely paid 10 million for it, possibly more. I paid 20 for a +10 to edged, +7 to dodge pinworn.
I have no use for an orb until you can turn your existing stuff into fusion.
ETA: Crumbly also doesn't matter if you know a bard. In fact it's preferable since it's cheaper to recharge.

There is the thread where I won it. So maybe something has drastically changed in the slightly longer than a year I owned it. But I really had no indication it would 10x in value. But there it was in an open auction just like this one.

Folks are selling orbs and enhacive items in anticipation of orbing at the Spitfire for about 1 mil per +1 to weapon bonus. Since OHE is so popular, once you get past about +4 bonus the rate increases to about 1.5 mil per +1 over 4.
So, yeah, about 10+mil for a +8 OHE bonus orb/enhancive is about right. I think that's far too expensive but I seen em go for that. I'd pay about 5 mil for it myself.

It's mostly the rarity of having that high a bonus on a single item. If you're looking to get +50, you need items like this, not a bunch of +2 and +3 crap. The TWC is just an added bonus.

That's surprising you got that so cheap. I'm sure I just missed it. Swami runs quick auctions.

You'd be crazy to orb that talisman.

There's not a damn thing wrong with that talisman for me.

I was going to use it on my TWC Bard. But don't really need it, and I would have been looking to get it made non crumbly.

That's exactly the thing to do with a neckworn that is that nice. Orbing is perfect for otherwise junk items with hefty bonuses. This is especially true if you're just going to sell it; don't orb nice jewelry pieces, save that process for junk weapons.

Anyone out there that wants to give me 10 mil for a +9 OHE bonus orb? I'll take it.
