Found this in a locker. It is from 2008, when we went all over Elanthia and listened to lectures and got figurines, when you got them all, they turned into this globe. It is really cool, but I have no use for it. It odes take up 20 spaces in a locker.
It starts out as a souvenir case:
This rectangular case is made from solid, silvery grey hoarbeam. Its faint grain is brought out by a clear varnish, giving the surface a highly polished finish. In the center of the case's top is a round mosaic comprised of pieces of glass in various shades of blue and green. The inside has been divided into several velvet-lined compartments. Each is distinctly shaped to snugly hold a very specific item. A small, engraved bronze plate has been mounted beneath the mosaic.
You can make out the details of a stone man glowing brightly within the globe:
The surface of this stone figure is smoothed, yet pitted, as if eroded over many years. The man's feet and left arm are crumbled away, though his expression remains stern. Across his chest is chiseled the word "Colossus."
There appears to be something written on it.
Look in case:
In the souvenir case you see a miniature archery target, a miniature square stone tower, a tubular bronze bell, a transparent crystal sarcophagus, a stone man, a small stone wishing well, a long metal bar, a piece of jagged black mica, a thick leather-bound tome, a miniature onyx altar, a catlike black stone woman, a large flat stone, a miniature iron cell door, a painted black rock, a scuffed wine barrel and a clear blue crystal.
>
Close case:
You close the lid of your souvenir case. It begins to hum and whir as it changes, slowly becoming rounder. Blue-green seas and brown lands become discernible on the surface as the case completes its morph into a colorful Elanthian globe.
Turn globe: You turn the globe slowly, and a piece of jagged black mica begins to grow brighter with an inner light. It becomes larger before your eyes until you can see its details far more clearly.
Blue-green seas and brown lands color the surface of the globe. Tiny landmarks dot the land in various places, though their details are far too small to observe from this vantage point. You can make out the details of a piece of jagged black mica glowing brightly within the globe:
Shaped like a sharp dagger, the mica looks like nature's weapon. The words "Zul Logoth" have been chipped into the side.
There appears to be something written on it.
In the Common language, it reads:
The Wonders of Elanthia, 5108.
