You carefully inspect your carved amethyst wand.

You determine that you could not wear the wand. The wand appears to serve some purpose.

You remember that you registered this item about a day ago.

It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of gemstone.

We have been doing some pretty extensive testing with this thing. From what I was told when won it was a 40 charge cast refreshable 511 disk casting wand. To recharge it you simply cast a spell from the wizard, minor elemental, or major elemental circle above 11 mana, that we have found, there may be more. Minor spirit and bard songs don't seem to work. GM Assist said it was not bugged as well.

We haven't been able to figure the whole recharging thing out completely though, there may be a cooldown period, but we were able to get 20 charges out of it today by casting Major EWave at it a few times.

In any case, there are no potions, orbs, or any other tricks you need to recharge this wand, simply cast a spell at it.

Yep. I don't have my wizard around at the moment to confirm exactly which ones, but they did work.

You simply need to empty all the charges out and use any of the same spell to recharge it.

So if you are at 0, Ewave will charge it to full. You cant use another spell to charge it again until it hits 0 again, then you can use another.

From what we have gathered. This thing really does need some pretty extensive testing, but I really dont have the time to do it considering I cant use magic items and dont have a wizard.

No, 511 only. Otherwise it would be in my possession for the rest of time.

So any non-wizard who knows ewave can have essentially limitless disks. Amazing item.

Also, update from a GM on the item:

There is a random chance that it won't recharge. It's not buggy, just how it was designed. Spells closest to the spell in the item will have a better chance than those from other realms. Also, casting low level spells at an item with a higher level spell in it will generally not work well.
