Earn your cash back from the upcoming Dhu. I will be paying $25 for each alteration you get for me. Three alters and your event is paid for, and most people said that getting 6 was cake. Lemme know if you're interested.

It'd work like this. I tell you what I want my items to look like, and give you my AIM. When you are in line for an alter, you IM me, we make sure it can happen, and I give you the cash via Paypal. If it doesn't happen like we agreed, or if you stiff me, I drive to your house and collect my money back tenfold in the form of teeth.

Also, I only have like 2 or 3 items I want done, so if I catch you, I will AIM you. To be honest though, anyone helping you will need to be prepared:

A) with necessary items for the alter
B) your descriptions and or shows

Yes, me paying for 3 alters would equate to paying for a ticket. However...I hate merchants. I hate people. I hate standing in line and waiting. Most importantly, I hate the fake "asskissing" roleplay that occurs at these events. This alone is enough for me to never, ever buy a ticket to the Dhu or EG. The current bid on alters is $20 per.

I have only ever had one done personally, and it was an engagement ring for Chadj's fiancee.

I didn't get one for years.

And then, at the EG about, oh, 4 years ago, I got 8 in one weekend. And my luck's been better since then.

The Dhu I went to, 6, plus lots of cool gadgets, the first Artisan's Faire, 5, plus some of the very first feature alters with that crazy evil guy....Razias, or something like that.

Raziras! He was funny yet disturbing.

I don't really think it is a matter of just how many alters one has received but how much effort you put into it. I can definately see how people can go years without getting one if they try their best to get away from them. On the flip side I've seen people walk out of major festivals with 20+ because they wanted to. All about the effort.
